Terms of Participation in the Event

 

The purchase and possession of the ticket automatically implies the acceptance of the following terms:

 

  • The purchase of this ticket entitles the holder to attend the Event, provided he/she accepts and adheres to the terms of operation of the venue.
  • All spectators must retain the ticket stub until the end of the Event.
  • This ticket is non-returnable, cannot be exchanged for a ticket to another Event and is not refundable if the spectator does not attend the Event for any reason.
  • This ticket cannot be cancelled; money is not refundable.
  • In order to protect and ensure the safety of spectators, participants and employees of the Event, entry to the specific area of the Event, Zone 1, which is only for vaccinated spectators, is permitted solely and exclusively upon showing a:
    • Vaccination Certificate or
    • COVID-19 recovery certificate
    • Self-test certificate for ages 12 to 18, declared at self-testing.gov.gr
    • Children up to 12 years old (born after 01/07/2009) are excluded from the above
  • Entry to the specific area of the Event, Zone 2, which is for mixed spectators, is permitted solely and exclusively upon showing a:
    • PCR / Rapid Test or
    • Vaccination Certificate or
    • COVID-19 recovery certificate
    • Self-test certificate for ages 12 to 18, declared at self-testing.gov.gr
    • Children up to 12 years old (born after 01/07/2009) are excluded from the above

Spectators will not be allowed in without showing the above, and there will be no possibility of reimbursement for those who do not comply with the health protocols during their arrival at the Event venue.

  • By entering and participating in the Event, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of audio/video data.
  • The purchase of the ticket entitling the holder to attend the Event pertains to a specific (numbered) seating position, valid for a single entry, and constitutes unreserved acceptance of the operating and safety conditions, as defined by the Organizers.
  • Only tickets sold electronically by an approved vendor and ticket handler, as well as at official resale points, are valid. Entry into the Event venue requires that each ticket must be submitted either in printed form or stored on a device in such a way that its QR Code or Barcode is clearly displayed so that contactless scanning to be carried out.
  • The ticket provides access only to the numbered seat specified by it, which the holder must remain in throughout the duration of the Event. No change of seating is permitted for any reason. Temporary transfer to the static and commercial exhibit, canteens and sanitary facilities is permitted. The holder is obligated to comply with the rules in effect under law regarding social distancing, health and safety (even if not explicitly provided for in these terms), and any additional safety rules set by ATHENS FLYING WEEK during access to, presence at and departure from the venue.
  • In the event of non-compliance with the rules of social distancing, health and safety by the public at the Event, ATHENS FLYING WEEK has the right, at its unfettered discretion, to remove from the site any spectator who does not comply with the above rules, as well as to interrupt the Event temporarily or definitively, without the public being entitled to reimbursement of the ticket or other compensation.
  • The use of a mask by the ticket holder is mandatory when entering the venue, during the Event, at the static and commercial exhibits, the canteens and the sanitary facilities, as well as when exiting the venue. It is stressed that compliance will be required with the health protocols in effect on the dates of the Event. The use of antiseptic alcohol solution (70%) is recommended, and the Organizing Committee will ensure availability of such in prominent places at the venue.
  • The ticket holder accepts that: (a) he/she is exclusively responsible for his/her personal safety, as well as the safety of any minors he/she accompanies; and (b) the Organizers are not liable for any destruction, property damage, injury or loss of life that may occur for any reason in the context of the Event. Crowdsurfing is expressly prohibited for safety reasons.
  • Exchange, resale and general trading of tickets are prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to supply tickets, without the Organizers’ prior approval, on behalf of third parties in the context of a commercial or business activity. The Organizers cancel these tickets.
  • The transport of flammable materials or other dangerous items to the venue premises is prohibited.
  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or other substances are prohibited from entering the area, even if they hold tickets.
  • The security personnel are located in the area in order to ensure the service and safety of the public for the smooth conduct of the Event. The public shall comply with the recommendations of the Organizers’ security staff and representatives, and shall not hesitate to contact them should the need arise.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to change a date by notifying the public thereof via the Media. In this case, tickets are non-refundable but valid as is.
  • In the event of postponement of the Event due to imposition of public health measures that do not allow its conduct on the specific day and time, due to strike, force majeure or inclement weather conditions (that render the holding of the Event impossible), the Organizers reserve the right to change the date and time of the Event. In this case, tickets are non-refundable but valid as is.
  • If the Event is cancelled for reasons of force majeure at least 35 minutes after its opening, the Event is considered completed; it will not be repeated and money shall not be refunded.
  • In case of cancellation of the Event, tickets will be redeemed within a specified time period through a specific electronic procedure that will be announced in a relevant public notification via the Media.
  • These terms constitute the spectator’s agreement with the Organizers.
  • The Organizers shall bear no liability for accidents, damage or losses of items.
  • The Organizers shall have the right to check all of the above.
